Both parties benefit from a seamless process and can easily complete a transaction with limited efforts and administration. This will allow both of them to work with more parties.
The team has a proven track record of working well together. The founders of Orderchamp (Ruud Stelder and Dennis Cuijpers) where the previous founders of SEOshop (sold to Lightspeed). Also, Orderchamps CEO, Joost Brugmans and CFO, Max Verduyn worked at SEOshop as respectively Head of Business Development and CFO. The founders of Orderchamp are well-known to henQ, as we were the first (and only) investor in SEOshop. And it speaks for our relationship that the team opted again to work with henQ. We have seen in the past how successful this team can be and we have been impressed by how hungry this team is to build something even bigger with us. The team has a unique experience and reputation in this market and they already managed to leverage this by showing strong initial traction.
It is the team’s ambition to become the go-to place for retailers to discover and try new products across categories. The team liked our shared ambition and realized that we will be able to push each other to achieve even more than what was achieved with SEOshop. Additionally, the team appreciated our process in which we focused on the essentials for the first phase to get Orderchamp off the ground.
