SEOshop, supplier of online store software, aims to rapidly increase its share in the Belgian e-commerce market. This is now within reach, thanks to a strategic collaboration with Belfius, one of Belgium’s largest banks. From now on, Belfius will advise its corporate clients to use SEOshop as their online store platform.
In 2014, Belgians purchased for as much as 5.6 billion Euro online, a 15% increase compared to 2013. However, the downside is that 42% of that amount was spent in foreign online stores. A missed opportunity for enterprises and self-employed traders from Belgian soil.
Belfius is a Belgian bank insurance company with a strong social focus. To facilitate the success of its entrepreneurial customers on the Belgian e-commerce market, Belfius was looking for an online store platform to recommend to them. Using SEOshop, online retailers have all the essential tools for Belgium at their disposal, such as an integration with the bpost shipping method and payment through MisterCash, as well as many marketing tools that stimulate sales in Belgium and abroad.
